What is PT Innovations(PTI)?

PT Innovations was established in 2012 as an Import/export company
with a team of bi-lingual/bi-cultural professionals offering an array of marketing and FMCG experience.


PTI specializes in product searches for Japanese companies, advises on R&D for F&B and conducts searches for distribution and sales partners in Japan for firms around the world. One of the main focuses is on guiding the reformulation of brands wishing to enter the Japan market with both product content and package design as areas of focus.


From 2017 to 2020, PTI setup the marketing and distribution of Brazilian juices into the supermarket channel, covering over 500 high-end supermarkets in the Kanto region and part of Kansai.

【Service content】

1.Regulatory Requirements for Imports
PTI prepares official documents in accordance with Japanese laws and regulations based on documents submitted by exporters (tables of ingredients, manufacturing processes, pesticide residue tests, and other test results, etc). In addition, PTI provides consulting and general services to facilitate smooth importation by conducting preliminary quarantine and customs checks. (This process includes providing guidance to the exporting company and may take from 2 to 6 months depending on the product ingredients, manufacturing process, etc.)

2.FMCG Brand R&D Guidance
When introducing a foreign brand to Japan, PTI proposes and conducts qualified market research and taste surveys to ensure that the product meets Japanese tastes and preferences, taking into account Japanese culture and customs, and provides brand R&D guidance as needed. PTI also provides guidance on label design, naming, and regulatory requirements for back and side labels, as well as bilingual labeling.

3.Selection of Sales and Distribution Partners
PTI has a strong network of major wholesalers, distributors, and logistics companies in Japan and can offer a wide range of proposals, from targeted and limited regional distribution channels to nationwide expansion into supermarkets and convenience stores. We also provide marketing support to attract consumers through digital media and sales promotion events.

4.Brand Developmen
Brand development examines the client’s brand program together with the client to develop and provide the best possible approach to the target consumer.

We also work with PTI’s partner agencies to create marketing and sales promotion programs for all your advertising needs.

2012~2016:Berry Snow

Developed and imported a brand of powdered smoothies from Sydney, Australia.Created the BerrySnow brand and developed all brand tools. Sold in the JapaneseF&B market for 4 years. 

2016~2019:Dr.Smoothie

Concentrated all-natural smoothies from Los Angeles, USA.This unique product contains no preservatives and has a shelf life of 2 years. PTI provided blenders and granita machines to cafes, restaurants, clubs and catering companies in Japan, and imported all products & blenders.

2017~2020:Natural One

Established Natural Beverages Japan Company in 2017. Launched Brazil’s No. 1 NFC juice brand “Natural One” as a premium brand and imported and sold from 2018 to 2020. Contracted with top Japanese distributors such as Mitsubishi Foods, Kokubu, Mitsui Foods, Nippon Access, etc., to sell   the brand in major stores in most of the Kanto and Kansai areas.

2019~2020:Nut Burgers

From California, organic, vegan nut burgers (patties) imported and sold since 2019, brand name and design changed by owner in 2021, no longer sold in Japan.

2014~:Butterine(Butter Substitute from Melbourine, Australia)

Unique product imported from Australia that is a natural unsalted butter substitute made from 100% premium edible refined beef tallow. The product is low in price and contains no transfat acids.

2020~:21Rocs(Consulting for entry into the Japan)

An American company seeking to enter the Japanese market for an orange wine-based cocktail. We are providing total support to build a brand that will be accepted in the Japanese market.
